Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely and money is the root of all-evil. Two trite clichés perhaps but they are probably applicable in this contemporary ad  adaptation of Jonson’s classic piece.

Mega bucks media tycoon Valpone feigns illness for the publicity and amassing even more money than he already has. Deceit and the greed of others together with the duplicity of his 'loyal' servant Mosca lead to the inevitable conclusions.

A multi media show with use of live video feeds together with pre-recorded footage illuminate this somewhat disturbing production that certainly met it's aims, but I'm afraid did not particularly appeal.
