This
is a new play by the excellent play write Ben Ockrent and is
brought to you by the production team behind last years critically
acclaimed Then again. Whether
he is phoning customers, his boss, girlfriend, agent or sister,
Joe, played by Dan Blaskey, is almost permanently on one phone or another.
Then
there is Amy, Gina Bramhill, an office girl who has a 'thing' for
Joe, and who is oh sooo blonde in her attitude. Joe is in a
relationship and is rather forcible in his rebuttal of her
attentions, possibly threatening his prize.
The
other male roles are played by Will Hartley, the female roles by
Ellie Burrow. The actors excel in these numerous characters and
the writing gives them an excellent vehicle to display their
undoubted talent.
So
does Joe win his prize? And will he ever make it as a clown? Will
Amy achieve her aims?
To
find out check out this excellent production, well written, acted
and directed, but then I should expect nothing less from this
talented young company.
