Drowning Point
This one-woman play by Nicholas Earl centres on Beth, Claire Porter, a thirty something happily married teacher whose life falls apart when her husband is drowned in a storm whilst he is sailing. If this is not bad enough, when the body is found he is naked with another women.
Ms Porter performs this well written play with style. The addition of the projected video footage, that certainly enhances the production, rather than some I've seen recently that somewhat detract.
And as for the opening scene, I've never before seen an actor come on stage and immerse their head in  a bucket of water. To find out why this seemingly unlikely event takes place you'll have to catch this intriguing production.
