Jim
Cartwright originally wrote this play for Sue Johnston and John
McArdle once they had left Brookside and is given an airing by
Moonface Productions.
The
plot, for anyone who doesn't know revolves in and around a
'Northern ' pub with the dysfunctional characters that comprise
the management and clientele.
It is seems a slightly
voyeuristic view, with the warts and all lives of these people
excellently portrayed by the two talented cast members.
I
fell the show has been slightly abridged from how I remember it,
but what has not been cut short is the worth of the production and
it's entertainment value.
