Brought
to you by the people behind last years hit Corpus Bess Productions
this year present ‘Then Again’, written by and also Directed
by Ben Ockrent
This
is completely different from last years show in as much that it is
a black comedy rather than a musical but what is consistent is the
quality of performance.
Robert
Levy is dead. His coffin is on stage and it his request, via a
very comical lawyer Mr Rathbone played by Anthony Andrews, that
his two best friends, Marcus and Richard, Paul Inman and Felix
Dunning respectively, together with his ex-girlfriend Martha,
Sarah Carter attend the will reading at the funeral parlour. The
friends have not seen each other for 7 years, and that is a lot of
water under the bridge. Would they have preferred not to meet up
again? What hither too secrets will be revealed? Who gets what as
a bequest? And who is Emily, Vicky Grebezs?
For
a fine piece of afternoon entertainment I would recommend you
check this out.
