What
do you get if you mix together a neurotic and a manic extrovert
together and send then on a 14 hour road trip to Scotland? Well,
the answer is this appealing play by Charlotte Riley and Tiffany
Wood.
Nearly
all the action is set in their car, and there is a 'cut down' one
for the girls to act in, but somehow it is not a static piece. The
clever use of split screen projection gives the road trip reality
and also allows for a couple of extras to appear.
The
story ebbs and flows from depression to mayhem depending to which
of the girls is in charge at the time, but all comes together to
provide just over an hour of compelling late afternoon
entertainment.
