If
ever there was a combination that should work then this is it.
Rattlesnake! have always turned in quality performances and this
year with Ben Elton's Popcorn it must be a sure fire winner.
The
play set before and after Oscar night, in the home of maverick
director Bruce Delamitri, Tim Harcourt. He is nominated for an
Oscar for one of his controversial films that the media claim is
being used as inspiration for a number of indiscriminate murders.
The
culprits, Wayne and Scout, Stuart Rouse and Michelle Wormleighton,
break into Delamitri's house and that's were the real action takes
place with somewhat devastating results.
The
production is well directed by G D Millerick and the cast
performance of
the script was excellent. The whole show was riveting that
the 90 minutes passed before I'd noticed.
