This
is a new style of show even to a Fringe veteran like me, and I
must admit it wasn't what I expected.
Four
actresses, a percussionist and a.... mistress of ceremonies I
suppose, were on stage, and gave short intros to themselves and
their summer, which the company then interpreted them in a short
inventive piece. So far so good!
I
appreciate that the show is really based on audience suggestions,
but the thing that made me feel a little uncomfortable was the
pressure I felt was put on the paying public. Fortunately, in our
performance we had Sarah, a youthful American, who was very happy
to share her experiences and I don’t know who was more relieved
the actors or us!!
The
concept was good, even if at times a little stressful and the
actors were certainly talented and versatile but…
