On
entering the space there is a living room set, the lights dim and
the action begins. Twenties couple Tom and Jenny interact and the
action moves on until...... in steps Greg, the writer of
'Conversation Peace', which is the play we are watching the final
rehearsal of, and Tom
& Jenny are really David & Daisy, played by Tom Turner and
Marny Godden,
Greg,
Ezra Godden, has written this somewhat personal play about his
real life and all is going well until the arrival of estranged
partner Samantha, Annalie Wilson and the distraction in her life
Dale, Daniel Mendoza.
The
action is thick and fast as the situation deteriorates and emotions
run high. Will the play actually go on? Is Samantha really going?
Or is the thing with Greg still there?
These
questions can only be answered by going to see this excellent new
play, written by Ezra Godden and skillfully directed by Rhys Thomas
and performed by a dynamic young cast.
