With
this play based on the life of Atalanta daughter of King Iasus.
His Majesty wanted a son he sends her to the wilderness with a
servant. She is raised by bears and becomes a supreme hunter and
runner.
But
King Iasus requires a grandson and orders our heroine to marry, an
idea that doesn't suit her too well. It is agreed however that she
can select her husband by her own peculiar selection method.
Ghostlight
Productions stage this adaptation written and performed by Ginna
Hoben. It is superbly written and acted and beautifully staged. Ms
Hobden puts her all into the character and must be physically
drained by the effort she expends.
The
only thing the show requires is an audience worthy of her efforts,
so this is where you come in.
