Not
knowing much about 'The Laramie Project' I didn’t really have
any pre-existing expectations. Yes I was aware of the original
murder and ensuing trials but that was all.
The
subsequent theatre project and how it was researched and devised,
along with the events of the case are presented to the Audiences.
An
extremely talented cast of four along with one musician singer,
present the facts and researched material in a sires of monologues
and dialogues. The only thing for me which detracted from my
enjoyment was the strange use of lighting effects and movement of
the chairs and box which were the set.
This
very dark piece of theatre is interesting but not for those
looking for light entertainment.
