Bangers
and Slash conceived as part of the girls A-Level work, received by
such acclaim they brought it to the Fringe.
Emily
Houghton, Sophia Minden and Harriet Webb play three women who
destroy the men in their lives. The motives for murder range from
heartbreak, greed and revenge. The scenes change regularly
centring on the three main characters, their journeys in to hell
and judgements by the devil.
The
idea is very interesting and moving the focus of attention from
scene to scene kept the interest but the blackouts and scene
changes were often unnecessary, to my mind. Where one prop would
have sufficed nine or ten were used.
Entertaining
show with interesting ideas.
