Sarah-Louise Young is the face and voice behind this show as she introduces us to three comedy characters who are all amazing singers.

The first one we meet is country & western diva and porn star Sammy Mavis jnr. This ‘lady’ performs three songs all comical and sassy and mixed together with some bitingly funny comedy as well.

Up next was librarian Loretta who is in the quarter-final of Cabaret Idol. This almost shrinking violet with a passion for Katie ‘Jordan’ Price books also possesses an incredible voice, but does she qualify for the semis?

Last but not least ‘La Poule Plombeé a late lamented French mademoiselle with a thing against Edith Piaf entertains for the remaining 15 minutes with a mixture of songs and comedy.

Ms Young has a splendid singing voice and a mean line in comedy too. It surely can’t be too long before she is playing bigger stages than this, however if the way she is packing them in, the sold out signs are a regular feature of her shows, then you better be damn quick to see her at all.

As part of the Laughing Horse Free Fringe there is no charge to get it, but a collection bucket for you to fold your contribution in half before placing it in there.
