Lincolin
School of Performing Arts present 'Going Down', six people stuck in
a lift with a strange voice that keeps saying going down.
We have a fairly attractive woman who is
attempting to get in to acting, a young couple who met in the
office, a man who is a student, a successful business woman and
finally a man who looks like a drug addict. It appears that each one
of the characters has a secret from stolen kisses and a grope out
with the marriage to murder. Slowly one by one they are told to exit
the lift until only one person is left.
This
well written play displays the talents of the seven performers. The
twists and turns of the plot are interesting but for me something
more could have been made of the ending, which I felt left us
hanging in mid air.
