I
found this a very interesting performance, if a little unusual in
it's staging.
Four actors, two male, Craig McArdlee and
Gareth Webber together with two female, Hayley Shillito and Laura
Taylor dressed in suits, and as the music pump into the auditorium
they strip to their underwear, as each in turn relate part of their
story. While this is going on the three remaining cast members prowl
the stage glowering at all and sundry in a somewhat unnerving
manner.
Each
aspect relates in some way to Marvin and his meaning in their life
and each actor turns in a powerful performance. The company have an
awful lot of talent to offer and with this sort of quality
productions offer a worthwhile alternative to the more traditional
fare on offer.
