This play is in essence three monologues
from different women; all played by Kate Fitzgerald, very much in
the 'Talking Heads' style.
First
up was Debbie Shaw, a conveyancing solicitor with ambitions, but how
far will she go to further her career?
Penny
was next, a OCD sufferer with agoraphobic tendencies since the
accident happened.
and
finally a daughter with a love of all things avian, especially
raptors, but is it she who is kept in a cage by her invalid
demanding father?
These
three pieces are beautifully written, the characters developed well
even given the amount of time available and each is brought to life
with excellent performances by Ms Fitzgerald.
A
really good piece of afternoon theatre.
