Black
and White Rainbow's treatment of Dracula is more traditional than
some of the versions on view this Fringe, it is darker and possibly
more frightening.
The
use of mask, mime and physical theatre adds to this production. The
Mirrors held by the cast during scene changes are clever and use of
the reverse sides change the mood quickly. Dracula himself is menacing
in a strangely attractive way, although for me our heroes leave a
little to be desired. If you would like to be a little frightened
this show will fit the bill admirably but take care not to get
bitten.
