Real Inspector Hound as written by Tom Stoppard is of course an excellent play, and reading the biogs of the company performing this I could be assured a guaranteed winner.

Well, I'm afraid I was a little disappointed. There was no faulting the actor's performances, the set was adequate, but it was the mauling that the script got somewhere down the line that caused my disappointment.

This play was not meant to be done in an hour, and that was the time restraint that for me anyway marred what should have been an excellent theatrical experience.
