This
young company take on this excellent, hard-hitting play written by
Jean-Paul Satre, take it on any emerge victorious.
The
play centres around three characters, Garcin, Patric Byrnes, a journalist
and maybe coward, Inez, Sophia McKinnon, a postal worked and lesbian and
society woman Estelle, Kate Carter.
Each
character is consigned to Hell on their death for past misdeeds. But
where are the torturers?
This
is a very well written play and the character development explores this
and questions if it is really necessary to have a torturer, when they
are more than capable to torturing each other.
No
Exit is not an easy watch, but it is a powerful theatrical experience
that should be drawing better houses than it is currently, and of course
you can do something about that.
