Several
years ago at the Assembly Rooms I had the great pleasure in seeing Cyndi
Freeman in 'I Kissed Dash Riprock' and was completely blown away.
I was therefore delighted to discover she would be back this
year.
'Inside
Cherry Phitz' is very different from her last show, but is equally as
good. Having written and devised both shows different aspects of Cyndi
are on display to the world.
She
is an extremely accomplished writer and performer and each production
seems to be directly aimed at every individual in the audience.
An
amusing look at the life of a wanna be drag queen whose biggest
disadvantage is that she is female!
She eventually becomes successful as an Elvis impersonator but
people think of her as male!
The
ups and downs of her life, loves and relationships make an entertaining
and fascinating afternoons viewing.
