Daniel
Danielovich an apple seller is discovered dodging punches aimed at
him by a street-wise punter from whom he had attempted to
extricate money.
Saved by a street tough would-be entrepreneur from sure
death, he reluctantly starts training to become a boxer. He is
renamed ‘Dancing Danny David’, it is at this time he meets and
falls in love with Bella, a dancer.
This
story is told through rapid fire dialogue, occasionally between
three or more characters, high energy dance routines of a
spectacular nature, with the boxing scenes being acted out by
cleverly designed puppets.
The
performance is non-stop and mesmerizing from start to finish,
cleverly written and beautifully performed by Brian Sostek and
Megan McClellan and totally exhausting to watch.
