In
this new play by Adam Fresco, the audience are show the full
gambit of the relationship between a female scientist and a male
cartoonist in 69 short sharp scenes, from their first meeting,
them getting together until the eventual demise of their
relationship and beyond, all assisted with a visual representation
on screen in cartoon form together with the scene number in case
we are loosing track.
In
essence this is a good idea, and of course the number does have
connotations, but sometimes it seemed to me that scenarios were
only there to bump up the number to the right one.
It
is well acted and directed taking into account of the above
comments and I did enjoy it, although the essence of the story has
been told a million times before.
