Partly it's about love,  Partly it's about massacre!
Savage Wit
I suppose it was four years ago that Jacqueline Linke in conjunction with writer Fiona Sprott introduced us to the character Jezebel in the much vaunted 'Often I find that I am Naked' a collaboration that I thoroughly enjoyed. I was therefore looking forward to seeing Jezebel Part Two in this years this performance of 'Partly it's about love, Partly it's about Massacre,'
I found to my disappointment that I was not nearly as drawn to this performance as the previous one. Ms Linke is a talented actress, the script was well written, but for me the 'X' factor was missing. I found the video screen distracting, with the graphics sometimes less than clear, and the set design and movement did not excite me.
It was maybe that I expected more, but I certainly didn't get the same high on leaving this performance as I did four years ago.
