Nearly at the National
Pulse Productions
Chris Fitchew, Laurella Fox-Pitt, Rebecca Lisi, Sarah Ireland, Daniel Napier and Adam Shpway are the talented cast of this revue type Fringe performance, cleverly entitled 'Nearly at the National'
This company can sing, dance and perform to a very high standard, this is obvious if you manage to see them previewing on the Royal Mile. The show is very cleverly written each act or scene is 'nearly' for example; Nearly...Sondheim the opening number takes various tunes from Sondheim and add their own lyrics, Nearly...Pinter the two reviewers are sort of waiting for Godot, Nearly Kander and Ebb, Chicago in a gay night spot, and one of my particular favourites from the show Nearly..Norma...Almost...Andrew Lloyd Webber!
I have seen many a good show and this is amongst the top selection of these.   The talented performers along with the well constructed ,clever script was a joy to watch and definitely a production which could be developed and taken further.
