For
the first two scenes I couldn’t be sure whether we were seeing
two patents or members of staff of this psychiatric ward. It also
took a little time to realise the
action takes place at night. I know Jo Brand was a nurse and Helen
Griffin either was as well or had a brilliant teacher in Jo, It
was just like watching my first few student nurse experiences on
night duty. On my
first day in a psychiatric ward I couldn’t tell which (who was
who) were staff or patients as some of the patients were saner
than the staff.
You don’t need nursing experience to
enjoy this show, as it is so full of one liners and crazy moments
I defy anyone not to find this funny if not hilarious.
This
is one show you would be 'Mental' to miss.
