Marc Salem's Out Of His Mind
Nokia Orange Assembly
It is very difficult to describe what Marc Salem does.  You could say that he’s a mind reader.  You could say that he’s a magician.  You could say that he’s a con man.  He may very well be all of these, but that really depends on your perspective.  I’d prefer to think of him as either of the first two, as he comes across as a genuinely nice person, and I like to think that some things don’t have an explanation, they just “are”.
The show involves a couple of guests from other Fringe shows coming on and giving a quick plug for their show.  Once they’ve plugged their show, they’ve got to repay the favour by getting involved in the show.  However, they’re not the only guests, as each member of the audience is a potential “special guest”.
With assistance from the audience, a party invitation was put together, and various memorable holidays were discussed (although some things were not mentioned to ensure nobody was embarrassed!)
If you’ve ever watched, and been impressed by, any TV programmes involving magicians and the like, which have shown tricks involving mind read reading then this show is definitely for you.  Personally, I’ve seen shows on TV depicting the same thing, but there’s nothing quite like seeing it live, particularly if you happen to be picked from the audience.
Truly one of the best shows on the Fringe………..I hope Marc Salem drops by next year, but then he probably knows I’m thinking that too!
