Love at first
Bfifteen Arts & Media
Simon and Sarah are good friends and have been housemates for ages. They are good mates and get on well. But that is it. Isn't it? Simon has a girlfriend, Sarah has just broken up with her fella, add copious amounts of booze and do the rules get kept? Well they do just.
In this play by Peter Shaw the relationship dating game is played with the assistance of a dating agency and the search for ideal partners begins in earnest.
Sarah, Hannah Cresswell and Simon, Robert Cameron each obtain new partners from this agency, but who are they really and are these the ideal people for them?
I really was impressed with this play. I thought it was well written and extremely well acted. The set was also good and the scene changes quick and effective.
If there was a tiny criticism I felt the ending could have been different. It seemed obvious to me which way we as the audience were being led, but I felt I was left 'hanging' a little at the end. Maybe it was just me, but I certainly would recommend you check it out for yourself and see if you agree. Either way, it's a good way to spend 90 minutes.
