Martha is going to marry D'Angelo when he comes to town. Her mother the dietician is disgusted by her weight and doesn’t encourage her to come out of her room. That’s ok to Martha as it's not her bedroom but her fattening room. Several tribes in Africa fatten their women for four weeks before they’re wedding, to induce voluptuous curves. The only thing she can’t do is dance.
It is now that Jazz comes into play, she runs a local dance and fitness class and is on the lookout for a hopeless case to work on to help her win a trainers competition. Jazz appears to be partly what Martha is looking for as she has a Coloured boyfriend.
How do the two get on?  What happens when Martha starts going out to nightclubs?  How does D'Angelo talk to her?
This show has one or two good dance scenes it is built up around an interesting idea and would be worth developing. Unfortunately the end is a little weak and most of the audience didn't realize it was over. The two main performers did well and the show has potential.
As it finishes on the 16th get to see it if you can.
