James Campbell is credited
with being the only stand up comedian for kids. This is the third
year he has performed in the Fringe, but the first time I actually
noticed him. I have
seen him on BBC TV on Saturday mornings as the resident ‘Comedy
Correspondent’ on the “Mysti” show, which started in April.
This personable young man
had an almost full Ballroom in front of which to perform. The
average age of the audience, to which he was performing, is
difficult to estimate as there were probably as many adults of all
ages as there were children. One member of the audience was only
six-months, the record for his youngest is seven days old.
His act gave everyone in the
room a good laugh and he appears to connect to every child
(whatever the age) in the room.
Good fun for all ages.
