I'd
been trying to see TG for a couple of years but this was my first
chance, on the opening afternoon and my first show this Fringe.
The
audience varied from babes in arms to grandparents, all of whom
seemed to be having a great time, even youngsters of two years old
sat for most of the show totally captivated.
I was at a little of a disadvantage as 90% of the audience
had obviously read the book and were able to join in with the
script in places.
The
accompanying songs were fairly basic and the encouragement needed
to join in minimal. This professional production is praiseworthy
for the obvious effort the company put into it. The show has been
a fringe regular sell-out and I expect it will continue to do so
this year.
