In this dreech damp weather it's always good to know you can get a good laugh in Scotland. Geoff and I went to 'The Stand Edinburgh' on the 11th and had a great night! Four really good comedians and a female compare who could keep most of them in their place!  See the full review in the non fringe section.  We hope everyone is prepared for the festive season and look forward to seeing 'Kiss me Kate' at the Festival Theatre in Edinburgh from Tuesday 14th December 2004.

Unfortunately the fringe flu has really affected our viewing this year, Geoff has soldiered on as much as possible but even he succumbed. We have sadly either missed productions or where possible rescheduled. We are still trying to cover shows in this last week and appreciate any pointers to shows and reviews of shows you have seen. There are some productions that are selling out and we can't get in. Have a great last week and we hope to see you in the passing.

The first full day of The Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2004 and the Scottish weather is as usual not playing the game! It was hot and sticky, yet dull and damp! However the first few shows soon cheered me up! Geoff doesn't get to join in till tomorrow, so the first two reviews are up to me!
Oh and due to popular demand we have sold out and had to start awarding star ratings!

03-08-2004
Edinburgh is really beginning to buzz and the first shows start tomorrow, Wednesday 4th August. The venues are all working hard in preparation and more performers are taking to the streets. I was fliered by N I E (New International Encounter) who perform "My Long Journey Home" in Pleasance Above 16-00 to 17-00,  4th to 30th.
02-08-2004
Oh my goodness but where has the time gone? It's now the 2nd and things start on Wednesday! Well as you can see from the site Geoff and I are hoping to be very busy. This all depends on getting tickets and shows not running over too much. #
Geoff was in Edinburgh yesterday, Sunday  1st August and our first award goes to Cambridge  ADC "Five Visions of the Faithful"  V 34 C Chambers Street 22-20  to  23-20, 4th to 30th, who were the first to flier him four days before the show opens!!!!

Not long now till this years Fringe! We are well on our way to finalizing our plans and the shows we hope to cover can be seen on each index page for 2004. We look forward to seeing both old friends and meeting new ones. Our schedules are due to change If we are unable to get tickets for a particular show or the venues or times change. Sadly the Wigwam is no longer a venue and we are having to reschedule shows we had hoped to see there. As we see each show the name will be mentioned on the daily news letter and be turned black on each index page.
I got to see Donny Osmond on the 16th July the review is in the non fringe section.
See you all soon  love from Sheila and Geoff
01-07-2004
At last we seem to be back up and running! apologies to those whose reviews have vanished we should have them up within the next week or two.  We are frantically working on this years fringe so if you are performing or have any recommendations we will  do our best.
As Geoff and myself both have full time jobs everything is done in our spare time if we can find any. Due to illness I am still playing catch-up.
As you will see over the next few weeks we are still planning a full schedule, our viewing is dependent on the various performers, agents and venues allowing us in to the shows. So far many of our old friends are back and one or two new adventures are planned, our plans are as ever due to last minute change but we do our best to fit things in. As we advance with our preparations you can see details of each show on the relevant index page see below.
