Scotland: A Changing Nation / Extremes of Life in Sub Arctic Canada

Zonked out by a surfeit of words; fliered to your pockets are bulging; hacked off with the rain; running out of cash and needing some quiet, dry repose at a free venue, the National Museum of Scotland may provide the answer.
In addition to their 7 levels of permanent exhibits, they have these two new exhibitions with artefacts and archive film sequences. In addition, there is a free lunchtime music programme featuring various strands of Scottish music up till 24th August
How can a museum be given stars? Given the sheer variety of what is possible to see and depicting a nation that has given so much to the world, it deserves the highest possible recognition.
