Robin Hood 

Spotlites Theatre Company, Kings Theatre Chatham is a professional Theatre Company specialising in theatre and the performing arts for, with and by young people aged 2 to 30. At this Edinburgh Fringe they present ‘Robin Hood’ and 'Rapunzel - may the force be with you!' a Star Wars style fairy story.

Written in such a way as to encourage audience participation most children in the audience were on stage at least once. Being given tasks to perform to help the goodies in eventually defeating the Sheriff. There were other times when every child in the room was given a 'dangerous', all be it soft, object with which to attack the baddies. Oh come on Rachel are you being a sadist or is it poor Daniel encouraging his masochistic tendencies, what ever the case the kids had an absolute ball but poor Daniel looked exausted.

The performers James Cowden, Daniel Dingsdale and Kelly Johnson work well together and despite the legend "never work with animals or children" are always in control of the situation. The writer / director Rachel Thomson-King has done a superb job on several levels, the lighting and sound designer is Josef King with stage manager James Cowden and ASM Kieron Riddell
