The Unauthorised Harry Experience – A Parody by Dan and Jeff

Billed as a parody by Dan and Jeff, "Potted Potter" is set to cover the first six books in the Harry Potter series also including readings from the final book 'Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows'.

I attempted to see this show last year but didn't manage to get a ticket. I was therefore delighted to get in to this virtually sold out 2007 version. Jeff is obviously a Harry Potter fan with his friend Dan they decide to do an Edinburgh Fringe show. Ok so far, except the only thing Dan seems to know about is Quiditch. Dan is charged with getting the cast, props and set but spends all the budget on a fire breathing flying dragon.

The comedy, pathos, quick changes, slapstick and story presented in this hour is brilliant. The writing is very clever and captures the essence of each book. Dan and Jeff are good-looking talented and obviously fit.

By the way we do actually get to play Quiditch!  How?
