I
am unaware of the origins of this company prior to attending this
production but I was heavily reminded of the now defunct NYMT
productions that graced the same Theatre during the Fringe for
years.
A
very talented company numbering, in the excess of 30, a very good
orchestra, and an interesting, almost fairy tale story of the
perils of eating the tempting but highly desirable goblin fruit.
The story works on more than one level, there is the fairy tale
and the moral story of youngsters resisting, or not, temptations.
I
trust the company will not be offended by my earlier comparisons,
but it certainly was meant as a complement, and with the talent on
view I would not be surprised if there are soon cast members of
this show going on to bigger and possibly better things.
