3hree
The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama introduce 3hree one act musicals. Performed by students from the Masters of Performance in Musical Theatre course.
This is the European premiere of 3hree, which was commissioned by The Prince Music Theatre Philadelphia and premiered in October 2000.  Consisting of 'The Mice', 'Lavender Girl' and 'The Flight of the Lawnchair Man'.
The Mice set around the life and loves of a rodent exterminator and how he escapes his wife and finds eternal love.
Lavender Girl is the reworking of a classic urban myth, where truelove can cross the barriers of time, life and death.
The Flight of the Lawnchair Man is inspired by the 1997 nominee of the Darwin Award (in honour of those who accidentally kill themselves in really stupid ways) Larry Walters, who survived a trip of 16,000 feet up above the earth on his lawnchair.
The cast of ten each appear in two or more of the musicals and all have excellent voices, one or two of them appeared familiar but as many of them have performed before it is possible they may have been in something I have seen.
A selection of rather different musicals performed by potential stars of the future.
