WCSU return to Edinburgh with 'Romeo and Juliet: A Rock and Roll
Love Story' having seen their last show 'Twelfth Night - The 1960's
San Francisco Psychedelic musical' which was fabulous.
Unfortunately,
I did not feel quite the same about Romeo and Juliet. There were
moments of sheer genius, but the whole show did not quite live up to
my expectations. I am not able to say why I did not enjoy this as
much as I thought I would.
The
cast are very good, some of the voices superb, dance and fight
scenes cleverly choreographed and an excellently executed finale but
something was missing.
I
do hope this talented company come back and I look forward to seeing
them again.
