Musical Youth Company present their version of Disney's "High
School Musical" not since "Grease" for our generation
has a film created a youth phenomenon until now. It would seem that
High School musical was out on stage almost before the release of
the DVD.
Having
seen the film I had no problem following the storyline and sort of
knew what was coming.
Despite
the restrictions of a fairly small stage this feel good musical had
its fair share of big dance numbers and despite having to double up
characters, did very well. There were very few really good voices but
everyone seemed to be having a great time, cast crew and audience.
The
cast are; Richard Pamwell, Tom Fox, Francesca Mebe, Justin Butler,
Jenny Crawford, James De Silva, Holly Drabner, Ellie Grayson, Meg
Soulsby, Becky Stephenson, Gemma Cunningham, Adam Fox and Dean
Boyall.
A
popular show so makes sure you get your ticket early.
