The
Cast of The Bridgend Musical Society are having problems with their
latest project, six weeks into rehearsals and they are getting
nowhere fast it is suggested that they do South Pacific but with a
cast of five that might be a little difficult. However things cannot
go on as they are! So do they adjourn to the pub and forget it all?
No!
They
discover a partially written old script for a show called ‘The
Bonnet Blue’ and decide to adapt it and put it on. Throughout
the development of the piece and the rehearsals each member
discovers things about themselves and begin to grow in confidence
and ability, they discover hidden talents in each other and the show
looks as if it could be a success.
This
show may have started badly enough for us to think, oh dear what is
this? But it continued and developed into an enjoyable and
interesting piece of Fringe Theatre.
