The
performance stats with an 11-minute curtain raiser 'Niume'
especially written by Philip Steward for the Fringe. A young
troubadour goes to Loch Katrine to ask the Lady of The Lake Niume to
grant him the gift of the ability to create beautiful Music. The
request is granted but the price is high Music or Love.
Les
Dames a Trois present Philip Sewards '....and Piano Make Three'
As
the third and final part of his trilogy of one act Operas designed
to be performed together or individually. In this the final part we
meet Richard (Philip Seward) a composer of solo music, his
girlfriend Sarah (Patrice Boyd) and last but not least his Steinway
Piano Elsie. Sarah is determined to get Richard to propose but the
equally determined (and very Jealous) Elise is determined to keep
them apart.
We
have some beautiful music and gorgeous singing along with a visual
presentation of slides to assist in the interpretation of the
storyline.
It
is a unique and interesting hour-long show.
