This new comedy musical
is set on the final night of Blazers Bar before it is sold to pub
chain J P McForks.
Set
in the atmosphere of the bar this very strong company perform this
comedy musical with verve and bags of talent.
The
show written by Stuart Price has a mixture of Karaoke and real
singing and the device used to differentiate the two at times
brilliantly executed. I was impressed with the
multi-characterisation
that most of the actors employ.
The
company of 3 ladies and 7 gents all play their parts well, most
sing and sing with a combination of class and at times comedy a
large number of karaoke favorites.
This
show is building a cult following. I know several people who have
seen the show more than once and I can understand why.
