Destination Anywhere
Year Out Drama Company
‘Destination Anywhere’ is a collection of numbers predominantly from musicals, linked by the theme of travel. The selection of songs used is interesting, varied and well performed. This 24 strong cast however is far too large for the performance space, in my opinion, numbers could have been halved.
This aside, the production is enjoyable and most of the singers have very pleasant voices.
With fewer performers or a larger space this show has great potential, the cast work really hard to put on a spectacular show in difficult circumstances.
The best place to see excerpts from the production is on The Royal Mile where the performers sing their hearts out to drag the punters in.
