This
troupe of Japanese drummers may not speak much English but the
performance and music speaks volumes for itself. The show is
presented in 6 sections.
The
first Fire Crackers sounded exactly as you would imagine a display
of hundreds if not thousands of fireworks would.
The
second Lion Spirit was the number I probably enjoyed the most as it
had the added bonus of a personification of a Lion Spirit. His main
was more like a brides train and was at least 5 foot long. His head
and main were shaken in time to the drumbeats.
The
other numbers Pegasus, Ryozanpaku, The Midnight Sun and Dragon Fall
were all really good but watching drums of various sizes being
beaten gets a bit samey and you can enjoy closing your eyes and
drifting away with the sounds.
For me personally I would have liked some
more visual stimulation that apart it is a very enjoyable show.
