Why would any self-respecting teenager want
to play Bass guitar? Actually Guy Pratt wanted an electric guitar but
trying to use a form of reverse psychology asked for a Bass. Although
the drawbacks of his Xmas present became apparent he struggled on
and has now written this show which was then developed into a book
and has returned again to the stage.
We
get the story of his life, comments on those he admires and those he
dislikes as well as bursts of guitar playing. For a personal self-indulgent
evening this show is fantastic as I can sit back and just enjoy the
performance for my own sake.
