His performance is a musical journey drawing on the guitar traditions of many countries. He also plays pieces taken from music initially composed for other instruments. His music ranges from slow haunting Irish airs to Flamenco dance rhythms.

Preceding each piece, he explains its context and background in a gentle conversational manner.
