The
Monk ey Butlers are Hal Cruttenden, Zoe Lyons, Caimh McDonnell and Paddy
Lennox who together perform this hour of sketch comedy that is amongst the
best on offer at the Fringe this year, and probably for a few years
previously as well.
The
pace of this show is hectic and the quality of the material pretty damn
good too. I counted nearly twenty different sketches, some being the
continuation of earlier ones and they had their packed audience in
stitches throughout.
I would be hard pushed to pick a
favourite as all had their good points, but if pressed maybe, the series
of pot holing skits may just shade it, and if you thought the Monty Python
team wrote The Dead Parrot sketch, then perhaps you better think again.
The real writers will be revealed during the course of the show.
