think we should get Ian under the trades description act, it
shouldn’t be Ian Kendal’s Magic Show it should be Ian Kendal's
Show Is Magic!!
After
watching him on the steps of Southside for years working with
Mitch Benn (Where is he now?), it took us some time to get to see
him but once we did we became strangely addicted.
It almost seems like a hypnotic suggestion but as soon as
we see the fringe programme some strange little voice takes over
and goes on and on till one or other of us go to see him.
We usually find a show full of new
illusions, new magic and one or two old favorites. Despite lack of
sleep his tongue works just as fast as his hands with innumerable
witticisms and gags. The show varies with the feedback from
different audiences.
This year’s finale had me on the edge
of my seat almost screaming No! Don’t do it!
But he did! Oh my god it was worth going if just for that.
