The
Comedy Zone is a tradition of the Edinburgh Fringe where up and
coming comedians have a vehicle to showcase their comic talents on
a late night comedy club style Edinburgh audience.
The
line-up consisted of compere Mark Oliver, the manic working class Russell Kane, the rather more reserved Matt Green and the
somewhat surreal songs and comedy of Isy Suttie.
Okay
I will be the first to admit that it wasn't the easiest of
audiences but Mark struggled to keep control, and because of this
the others also had a few problems too.
Russell
had a frenetic set that had genuinely funny original material and
certainly will be a big name soon, Matt Green also did well with
his set, but a bit like Mark, Isy suffered a little.
