I
first became aware of Ms Vidal last year, but unfortunately didn't
manage to catch her full show, and having seen her on Channel 4 's
The Kings of Comedy, I was determined to see her this year.
Her show title Misfit is reference to the
fact that as a tall, strikingly good looking black girl who has
been to several boarding schools she doesn't fit in with that
environment or with the black kids when she escaped the boarding
school scene. She has also worked as a prison warder, but that
didn't work for he either.
Ms
Vidal has some good material, but I feel she didn't give her
entire show and that was probably because there were two
pre-teenagers sitting on her front row. I feel she had ‘a bad
day at the office', but would have liked to see her again this
time with a somewhat older front row.
