Yes lets write a musical!  Most of us wouldn’t even dream of doing it but Ashley Frieze and Chris Parr do. Helped, or is it hindered by the book 'How to Write a Musical', bought from an old Japanese gypsy, on the art of writing a two-man-musical!

Sadly they didn’t check about the curse, which traps them together until they write a musical or be doomed.  The show must include a dance number, love story, death and several varieties of musical number.

At times it seemed that it was a competition to see how many musicals or lyrics they could cram into context and when they finished with musicals for a while they started on films.

I really liked the idea of the show and the two very talented performers seemed to be enjoying themselves (most of the time, story line permitting).  If you enjoy it as much as I did there is a CD of some of the numbers available.

This is a clever idea, which has the potential to be developed further.
